An aerial view of the Cape Hatteras, North Carolina Shoreline
where many years of fun family time was spent during many summertimes. The sandy beaches, large dunes and Atlantic Ocean waves made for long, lazy days of relaxation and exploration. The Cape Hatteras lighthouse was moved in 1999 inland by 2,900 feet to it's present location due to shoreline erosion in order to preserve this historic structure.
