This experimental work in acrylic paint pouring captured the artist's feeling of being "swallowed up" by the challenges of interpersonal relationships. Learning to swim parallel to the shore rather than fight the current to regain our self identity was a lesson learned. Undertow is a piece that honors the strength of human resolve and survival.
