Gulf Grouper is the fourth in a series of fish paintings. The gulf grouper lives in the mangroves and shallow coastal SWFL areas. Known by it's brown to gray color, this heavy body fish also prefers rocky reefs and deeper water as it matures. It's large mouth adjusts to allow this fish to swallow it's prey whole; including many other types of fish, crabs and shrimp.
